Mesotherapy
The effects of mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is famous for its various applications. This treatment is used, among others to nourish and improve the skin’s natural hydration. The therapy method is designed to affect the deepest layers, i.e. the dermis. The effects that can be obtained are closely dependent on the preparation that will be used.
What does the mesotherapy treatment look like?
The spectrum of this advanced therapy is very wide. The selection of active substances depends on the needs of the patient, and the procedure is carried out by a specialist in aesthetic medicine. Depending on the patient’s needs, the main part of the procedure may be preceded by the application of an anesthetic cream. The essence of the treatment is the introduction into the deeper layers of the skin properly selected preparations, or cocktails based on ingredients with moisturizing, regenerating and nourishing (vitamins, amino acids, hyaluronic acid).
Time of treatment
The procedure is from 30 to 60 minutes
The period of convalescence after mesotherapy
In the mesotherapy treatments aimed at moisturizing the skin, non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid is used – after administration it stays in the tissue for a short time (from a few days to about a month). It is then given into the skin by a thin and short needle in the form of puncture punctures after applying local anesthesia with anesthetic cream. After surgery, you may have a few days swelling, you may see clots. Sometimes bruises appear, which healing time is about 7 days.
The duration of the effects of the skin revitalization treatment
The proper effects and their maintenance are determined by the repeatability of the procedure. The best results will be obtained after a series of 3-6 treatments performed at intervals of approx. 1-4 weeks depending on the preparation. It is also worth to opt for reminding treatments during the year.
